What Airi keeps, and for how long

Last updated 15 October 2026

Airi is an AI dating coach. Here is exactly what the service saves when you talk to her, who can see it, and how to erase it.

  • Your chat is sent to Anthropic to write Airi's replies and is stored on Cloudflare for up to 90 days.
  • Airi keeps a short memory note of past chats for 30 days, so she can pick up where you left off.
  • Your browser holds a random ID instead of an account. Airi asks for no name, email or phone number.
  • One tap on “Delete my data” erases everything saved for your browser, right away.
  • Airi is for adults (18+).
  • Your data stays out of advertising: no ad trackers, no selling, no sharing for ads.

Who runs Airi

Airi (talktoairi.com) is run by Daniella Fay Kaufmann, an independent creator based in Israel, who is the controller of the data described here. Questions, requests and complaints: [email protected].

In your browser (local storage, no cookies): the random ID, your language, the motion setting, the Terms version you accepted and the time of the last “you're talking to an AI” reminder.

Screenshots you add to the stuck-message form are read on your own device. Only the words are sent, after names, phone numbers, emails, handles and links are swapped for placeholders, and the server removes them a second time before saving. The image itself never leaves your device.

Who handles it

Daniella can open stored conversations. She does so only to look into a report, fix a problem, or check that safety features work. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.

Your choices and rights

Legal bases (UK GDPR / EU GDPR): providing the service you ask for (your chats, memory and profile); legitimate interests in safety, abuse prevention and fixing problems (working notes, reports, rate limiting); your consent (stuck-message submissions and their anonymized publication). California residents: Airi sells and shares no personal information, and you can ask to know, delete or correct it at the address above.

Adults only

Airi is for people aged 18 and over. When someone tells Airi they are younger, coaching stops, the saved conversation is deleted, and Airi points them to a youth helpline.

Safety

If a message suggests someone may be in danger, Airi stays in the conversation and shares crisis lines for their country. These moments are logged as a flag inside the conversation record, with the same 90-day limit.

Where the data lives

Cloudflare stores data on servers around the world, and Anthropic processes it in the United States. These transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual protections.

Changes

When this policy changes in a way that matters, the date above changes and you'll be asked to confirm again before your next chat.
